Ainsley and Sebastien run a brand agency on the Sunshine Coast (they’re ridiculously fashionable if you can’t tell). I’ve been shooting with them at home over the last year so I have got to know them quite well. When they asked me to come along and shoot their wedding in Vegas, I was super excited to say the least. I knew this would be no ordinary wedding, it would be spontaneous, crazy, loads of fun and just all together rad!
I met them at LAX where we picked up the rental car (which of course had to be a convertible Mustang) and began our road trip through the Californian desert to Vegas. The Californian desert is just so barren and beautiful with plenty of abandoned houses and gas stations to get me really excited for the wedding over the next few days.
Ainsley and Sebastien began their non-wedding morning in the most untraditional way possible, they even dressed one another which was awesome for photos. One the way to the ceremony we stopped to do some photos with smoke bombs which I was extremely excited about because we can’t get them at home. There was traffic backed up just before the chapel and if we didn’t get out and run we were going to be late. Can’t say I’ve ever run along four lanes of traffic in downtown Vegas chasing a bride and groom.
To be a part of this wedding was quite spectacular and I couldn’t think of a more perfect couple to share my first destination wedding with. Thank you Ainsley and Sebastien for inviting me to share the raddest day of your lives. Love you guys!
