This is my uni exhibition piece I submitted and the artist statement as follows:
‘I will love the light for it shows me the way. Yet I will endure the
darkness for it shows me the starsɉ۪ (Og Mandino, 1990)
Light is power; it enables us to see the world and guide us through the dark. Light has an uncanny ability to allure us with its effortless beauty and mystique. It is these multiple lights that have illuminated and captured the subject’s form.
As a photographer I have always had a fascination with light and how it can bring a scene or subject to life. I am forever searching and chasing the best light, the most interesting, captivating and beautiful light.
