My first time in Scandinavia and I have to say it felt like home. I’ve always had a desire to visit this part of the world, I think it might have something to do with the origin of my name. Sweden and Norway did not disappoint, and having the honour of shooting a wedding here made it all the more special.
I spent a few days with Emily-Claire & Erik at their cabin in Norway in the lead up to their wedding. They were kind enough to give me a locals tour of the Valldal area and we took a few photos along the way. It was absolutely incredible spending time in Norway.
I then made my way down to a little coastal village along the west coast of Sweden called Grebbestad, where the wedding was to be held. The wedding was beautiful, even though it poured down most of the day so we had to move the ceremony indoors to the barn (which by the way was the best backup location I’ve ever seen). Emily-Claire & Erik were legends and braved the rain for a few photos outside before it got too cold, and it was truly worth it.
I love being apart of weddings where everyone is literally having the best time. Not once did I hear anyone complaining about the rain, every single person just had a blast and savoured every moment. Thanks to Emily-Claire & Erik for inviting me to share their incredible day/week with them :) you guys are awesome!
